Our Piggibike charger is currently only compatible with the Bosch Type 2 battery. However, we are already working on charging options for other manufacturers and systems. For exact compatibility information, we recommend checking the product details on our website or contacting us directly.

Our e-bike charger is unique because it can charge your e-bike while driving on a bike rack, via the 12V socket in the car or even with a solar panel. It is ideal for on the go and allows maximum flexibility when charging.

That is exactly the specialty of our charger. It is super flexible and can be used universally.

1. The charger is simply connected to the 12V socket (cigarette lighter) in the car. This allows the removed e-bike battery to be charged in the vehicle while driving.

2. With our AHK adapter you can charge your battery directly in the bike while you transport it on the AHK on the bike rack.

3. You install Piggibike permanently in your vehicle/camper and connect it permanently to the power supply.

4. You connect Piggibike directly to a solar panel.

Our charger is equipped with a battery monitor. This switches the device off as soon as the battery voltage falls below 12 V. This ensures that you can always start your car and that the battery does not discharge.

All commercially available solar modules for 12V applications are suitable (nominal voltage Umpp in the range 17-21V), a nominal power range of 20Wp to 120Wp is recommended.

With a 100Wp solar module, you can achieve around 80-90W of charging power with the Piggibike charger under ideal sunlight conditions (summer around midday, vertical radiation). A 400Wh battery is fully charged in 5-6 hours.
